Five, 5 round groups at 50 yards, from the bench, with an Anschutz 54 MS (.22LR) mounting a Leupold FX-3, 25X target scope. Eley Tenex. Using .205 as a correction factor, the average group size for all five groups is .285".

Ok, we did our weekly eat and shoot in Ponca today. (Shoot on hiatus during the winter)
Pretty windy at the range, but had a selection of guns to shoot/share. 4 made it to the range.
Lever gun .45lc, .44 mag ruger carbine, AR's, .22rf rifles and pistols.
Shot on the 50 yd, then moved to the 100. My targets: first on the 50 yd with the .44 mag ruger carbine. 230 grain Hornady XTP HP. One flyer I called, two shots in the same hole upper center.

Second, .223 Remington R1 made by Bushmaster using a Nikon coyote scope with rings vs cross hairs. Not a precision shooting scope, but it did ok with .55 grain Hornady spbt bullets. My varmint and deer loads.

3" bullseye with 3/8" rings, maybe 5/16".

Cool stuff. Is your 44 the later gas operated one or the older one? I have the gas one and love it. I use 270gr speers out of mine and almost cried when they quit making them.
