Well, on a positive note, " The Saint" is no longer the stupidest thing they've ever done. I have 2 XDMs and love them but this is certainly disappointing news.

I assume you mean an M1D. Really neat piece of history, but don't expect any more than 1/2 MOM accuracy.
On topic, it's sad to see how yet another American firearms manufacturer is kowtowing to the liberal handwringers who focus on one of the tools used by the problem. Much easier than dealing with the real issue!
First handgun i bought was an xd, and I just bought a Springfield 1911. Frankly I love them both and it's sad they they did something like this but I'll probably buy more of their products in the future.
