Has anybody taken the conceal carry class there? A friend of mine asked if my wife wanted to take the class with his wife... And I just wanna make sure it's a good class or if I should suggest a different place.
I know a few people who took the class there. They all had positive things to say and they all got their SDA cards, so I guess it was OK.
My wife took hers there with a female friend. They both seemed to like it and she had no complaints. I took mine at H &H and I liked the speaker they brought in to go over the legal aspects of carrying.
I don't know if it matters, but when my wife and her friend took the class, they went to Big Boys and they had a female instructor named Angela that they speak very highly of.

I took mine at Sgt. Everett's back in 2010. The course was taught by Everett, himself, at the time and he was a lawyer and former Marine. He was very straightforward and knowledgeable on all subjects. Sadly, only a couple years later I heard he took his life. I can't personally say how the course is now, but I've heard it's still a good class.
My wife took hers at Sgt. Everetts, No complaints. Check with Groupon before booking. They had a deal at the time she took hers. Was like $55 for the class and included 5 free range visits to use whenever. (I used a couple) lol
Also she booked hers through Sgt. Everetts and just ask them about the deal, they still have it to her. I'm sure they gotta pay Groupon a percentage or something.

I enjoyed Doug as well. Sadly, I don't think he'll be teaching any longer, unless he's CLEET certified.
