Update on the stock on my Ruger American Predator. Lot's of info on similar issues with the barrel touching on the fore left of the stock. I noticed very little clearance and maybe zero clearance on the bottom when using a bi-pod.
Got the dremel out and did some work on it and now have perfect clearance and the stock is truly floated. Equal clearance everywhere and dollar will slide while on bi-pod.
Want to try it out today, but have a school reunion and Hall of fame banquet tonight I'm mc'ing.
Will hope the wind is down tomorrow and will do a report.
Would post a pic of the finished product, but I doubt it would be very interesting enough to bother.
