So who's planning to shoot bowling pins at Firearms Solutions next Sunday? I was over yesterday and they said they'd be trying out the pistol caliber carbine match, shoot whatever you got with no restrictions on sights or number of rounds in the magazine.

I've never shot a bowling pin match. Sounds like fun. We are doing a short car cruise with a fella in the car club we cruise with who is fixing to go in for more chemo on the 8th or 9th, so I'll have to pass on this one but I'd like to come over and try one some time.

Prayers for him would be greatly appreciated. How come it's always the nice guys ... :(

I will pray for him but keep in mind that it isn't only the nice guys. Its everyone in one way or another, we just tend to only notice when its the nice guys...which probably says something about us. Stay hopeful, avoiding the end is not a realistic goal but remembering there is a purpose in all we do can give meaning and value to every moment we do have. I learned that from my late wife - passed at 36 from cancer but taught me more meaningful things in her last 12 months than I had learned (or at least paid attention to) in my whole life until then.
