I'm thinking of buying some, just because. Where might one buy some without paying some pawn shop astronomical overhead fee?
APMEX. They are in OKC. You can buy it online and show up and pick it up and there is no tax so its a pretty good deal.

I havnt bought any gold, but have silver from them

I doubt that they are better than APMEX, unless they sell over the net. APMEX is slightly higher than spot. something most coin shops cant come close too.

You must not have ever done business with Brown's. I've bought a few times from AMPEX but Brown's will consistently beat their prices.

What yukonjack said. Brown's pay more then anyone in the state and been at longer then anyone I've heard of. Jerry has passed, but his wife and daughter are still at it.

Helping a family member out here.
Spouse deceased, had a collection of silver dollars and half dollars. Quite a large collection actually.
Is the silver worth more than the collectors value. some silver dollars going back to the 1800's, most into the 20's or later.
