Honestly, I've lived on such a tight budget my entire life, I have no idea what to do with that kind of money. Other than cars and guns, I've never even shopped expensive stuff.

I'd want land, but the kind that you don't do anything with - ie, hunting meadow/woods. I have no desire to own/run a farm or ranch.

I want land enough to shoot out to 4-500 yds, a nice pistol/action range, and a couple nice shops.
This is exactly what I would want to do. I wouldn't need it want a huge house, but give me acres upon acres of land that I could shoot as much as I want to (preferably somewhere that actually gets all 4 seasons) and I think I could be happy. Especially if I had a nice size garage so I could spend time learning to work on cats.

I use to love Telluride,Colorado and thought it would be cool to live there. Then in the 1990's when half of Los Angles and Beverly Hills had to have a ranch or 2nd or 3rd or whatever home there.....they DESTROYED it!!!!

I use to want to live in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico...or as it's called by it's shorter name...Cabo.

I remember back in the 1980's when this was a fishing tourist town with a few whale watchers. I loved that you and a girlfriend could spend a weekend there and enjoy the beach, ocean, diving, fishing, and all the things two adults (me and my girlfriend) do in a quiet beach town. It would have been an awesome place to live.

BUT OH HELL NO.........Eddie Van Halen ( then Sammy Hagar bought the bar) had to build a night club/bar down there and really start to kick it up a notch for all of Los Angeles to spend time here...........Dam* IT!!!

So now if I won the lottery I'd do a few of these...instead of owning...I'd be actively involved, not having to worry about an income but time to play and enjoy.

1. Tour Guide or Volunteer at the Monterey Bay Aquarium

2. Work with and help fund archeological expeditions...here in the States and across the world.

Especially in the SW part of the United States.

3. Roadie for some rock group. Country music sucks now days so I'd roadie for some rock group. Setting up the stage, lights, and electrical....concert...then tearing it down , packing it up, and moving to the next town for a concert.

Not where I'd live but having the money to be able to DO WHAT'S FUN and have an income(lottery) to pay for my expenses.

Trust me....these were just a few things among many others I'd do if I won the lottery.

Buy land and ranch in Montana and winter place in Destin. Always wanted to cruise around the world.

I got a t-shirt at a dive bar in Destin called the Hog's Breath Saloon. It says: "Hog's Breath is Better than No Breath At All".

I would buy a house in Durango, or Pagosa springs Colorado for the summers and buy a lot of land in western Oklahoma and quail and pheasant hunt in the winter. If I still had money left I would dive in Fiji twice a year.

Don't worry, we're safe. The only time those people (e.g., Californians) move to Oklahoma is when they're forced to due to a job transfer. They never even think about all of us in the "flyover" states, as they call every state between New York and California, any other time. Hope it stays that way.
