The last time I posted some surplus rifles for sale, it seems I up to date on where prices were at the time. I had multiple people sending me emails criticizing my ads. I was wondering if you might give some input on these? Am I better off putting them up on Gun Broker or trying for local sales?

Not sure on the others, but I'd have to see the markings on the stock, etc., on the SKS. Not seeing inspection stamps around the crossbolt, so if none on either side, and depending on the arsenal/SN markings on the left side of the buttstock, likely a light refurb. Light refurb with all numbers matching right now is around $500-$525 (based on a few I've sold recently). The market sucks for sellers right now; everything is a hard sell, and people just aren't spending money, or wanting to pay much when they do. It took a more than a few rounds on Gunbroker to move the ones I did, and they were one bid wonders.

Thanks for the info. I made hold on to them and enjoy them myself a while longer. Here are some of the pics I have of the SKS showing the markings. To the best of my knowledge it's a non-refurb or a very light refurb. No cross bolt, no black painted parts, etc.

The Ivans went light on the right side stamps! Looks like it might possibly be a non-refurb after all; not sure on the value there, due to the crappy market right now. Wouldn't be a bad idea to me to hang onto that one anyway - but I'm kind of a sucker for SKS rifles, especially Russians.

Someone was looking for a K31 in the WTB ads a week or so ago. The WZ48's are all over the place. Bud's got some in a while back that were $212 shipped. The stocks were rough and dirty.
