Oh, so now all Italians must therefore like pizza, huh? And talk like Chico Marx? I'll bet you even say that some of your friends are Italians (pronounced Eye-Talian no doubt)
LOL

(BTW - I LOVE pizza, I could live on the stuff...just not the way it is usually made in Oklahoma)
I think I read pizza was not developed in Italy. I stand to be corrected, but it was an American deal.
The pizza we saw was basically focaccia bread and a few sliced tomatoes on top. It wasn't far from the Wendy's and Mcdonald's though. Kinda ruined the Venice experience for me.

Wikipedia says it was invented in Italy. I didn't try any in Venice, but in Rome we had some great brick oven-style margherita pizza. Although when I tried to get pepperoni pizza, I ended up with one with salami and one with pepperoncini. lol Both good, but not what I was looking for.

Salad?
Never mind the folks in India!! My ancestry is part-German and I represent that remark about hamburgers! After all, the name comes from Hamburg!! As in Germany. So just keep that in mind, or I'll turn the PC police loose on you.
