Congress will vote on any proposed bump-fire stock ban. OSA will not.
Agree. The Republican Revolution of November of 1994 occurred after the Democrats, who controlled both houses, passed the AWB in September of 1994. The ban was not the last straw for the Democratic party but it was one of the last straws. Republicans and Rinos know this.

Exactly. Republicans KNOW that they will lose power if they pass a real anti-gun bill, especially if Trump signs it. Personally I think there is much less chance of it getting passed by congress. I still do not trust Trump.

I have an issue with this Bill. Specifically, the verbiage criminalizes the ‘possession’ of devices such as the infamous ‘Bump Stock’ which renders such devices currently (legally owned personal Property) as illegal (contraband). Thus, Legally owned Personal Property would be transformed into Illegal Property (contraband) ex Post Facto with respect to the timeline pertaining to its ownership. So, from the viewpoint of its status as (Legal) Personal Property protected under the 4th Amendment of the US Constitution, it cannot be arbitrarily changed to Illegal (contraband), or else virtually nothing (no Property) that a citizen legally owns would be safe from seizure at the whim of legislatures. However, laws can be made that henceforth from the time such laws take effect (the transfer, manufacture, or acquisition of specified items, devices objects or substances) would be illegal. The Bill should contain a Grandfather Clause to protect the rights of our citizens and to maintain the integrity and keep faith with our Constitution.
