In case anyone's wondering, a 908S weighs 3oz more than a Shield. I like both guns, picked the 3rd gen as a keeper. YMMV
Then weight for weight, the M&P 9C is that same weight and then there is a big capacity advantage.
You did well! I happen to like the 3rd generation S&W pistol's, and really like the small 3913 style pistols. I have a 3913 which is the same as yours except that mine has ambi safety levers compared to yours only having one. They are very nice carry guns, and I think they are a better pistol than the newer S&W shield.
