Gundy has done a hell of a lot of good up there in Stoolwater...just not quite good enough against Mayfield and Co, though. Not today anyway. I mean think about I; in general terms, OSU plays second fiddle to OU and still, Bedlam is always a toss-up. Oh sure, the odds are usually in OU's favor but it's always hard to tell. OSU has a lot of heart. Bottom line: With college football games as entertaining as this one was, who needs the steenkin' NFL anyways?

Funny you say this. Watching this game, I was thinking to myself that I'm not going to get to see Mayfield, Mason or any of the others get to play on Sunday. And I'm actually fine with that.

Uh, no it isn’t. It’s a toss up maybe half of the time and OU wins the majority of those too. It was a heck of a game though.

Is there a scenario where OSU can get back into the Big XII championship? If they beat ISU, they’ll likely end up in a tie for second with TCU or OU, both of which would have the tie breaker I presume.

Well Tcu would need to lose twice I think since they have the tie breaker with Osu.

It was an entertaining game for the most part. OU’s defense was an embarrassment again. Mike stoops seriously needs fired. He won’t make adjustments even after getting burned over and over. Had he not switched away from the 3-4 against Kansas state we would have lost. Against OSU we never once pressured the quarterback. He had all day to throw. I could have sat back there in that pocket and picked the defense apart. But the couple of times stoops decided to blitz look what happened. Rudolph panicked and threw an INT. And on one the refs cheated us out of it. And that so called targeting foul was the biggest crock of crap I have ever seen. But I knew it was gonna go on OSU’s favor. Had it been any team besides OU then they would have said there was no targeting. Even the announcers wanted OSU to win. But in the end the Sooners won and that’s all I care about.

Another thing, if I was an OSU fan I would be ashamed to have that national championship banner from the 40’s up in the stadium. Or anywhere else for that matter. They didn’t win that championship. All OSU needs to catch OU is 7.
