I’m kind of strange. I’ve had the same couple bottles of whiskey in my house for years. I never drink at home. I’ll drink a beer or two in a social setting, but usually have an Old Fashioned or whiskey on the rocks.

I drink beer mostly for taste. Like a little darker taste for one or two, then which back to the standards after that. Usually go across state lines for the standard domestic brews to get them fully done fermenting rather than pulled off raw before they exceed the 3.2 max crap.

If you get a chance you might try a test market going on in some grocery stores in parts of Oklahoma. ZigenBoch, brewed in Houston, black can. Just a little amber, but fairly light taste. It is the first beer I have ever had that is not bad even when getting a little warm. One thing I noticed was that to me the 3.2 Okie version sold cold in the grocery stores here is very similar in taste to the stronger alky version sold in Texas I have compared side by side. Reasor's has it in the Tulsa market, Homeland in Pryor, not sure about others.
