Yep, I can just hear the trickle down on the head of the lower middle class folks as I type this. I hear it and I smell it and it smells a lot like urine.

I just know that those greedy bastards running corporations - you know the ones who have been simultaneously taking home million dollar bonuses while freezing wages of their employees at best and laying them off so as to afford their bonuses at worst, are just chomping at the bit to put those huge savings to work for the American people. Oh yea, it's happening.

And while i'm glad that my 401k is continuing to rise, it's worth noting that the rise began long before Trump was even a candidate.
But even more important is that the folks on the lower rungs of the ladder couldn't care less about how stock prices are doing because guess what - THEY don't own any stocks. They don't have a 401k. The middle class in this country by and large live paycheck to paycheck, they're not waking up each morning and checking out the NYSE opening numbers.

Listen i'd love to be wrong. Would absolutely love for these tax changes to be the beginning of something positive in America impacting from those at the bottom all the way to those at the top. But nothing about this tells me that's gonna happen. All I saw today was more politicians being politicians and being completely tone deaf while doing so. If i'm wrong, that will be a good thing.
But AT&T is going to give a 1 time $1000 bonus to lots of poor people. They will be well off then! LMAO.

$1000 will help a LOT of people around Christmas time no matter how much your panties are in a wad. Either way, I'd MUCH rather see 200,000 people get 1,000, than that money (or even a fraction of it) going to the government.

ATT is trying to buy Turner Broadcasting(CNN, HLN, TBS, TNT, HBO) and the Trump DoJ is suing to stop the merger.
You don't suppose ATT would announce a sweet deal like this to suck up and curry favor from the Trump admin do you?
Drain that swamp

I was unknowing at first about the tax bill what with putting us another trillion+ dollars in debt but after listening to various people
comment, maybe it'll be alright because it will stimulate businesses and in turn the businesses will hire more people who will be off the dole, working and paying taxes into the system which will increase the economy and families will be happier. Also, maybe more people will not be locked up in some jail somewhere because they're working and not causing trouble..
Sarcasm I hope.
In case not, explain to me how a tax cut equates to company expansion and jobs?
Oh wait, it doesn't, not at all.

Oh I never said it was a bad thing. However, AT&T does pay a decent wage already (non of them are lower class or on food stamps). lol $1000 to those employees will be nothing more than a house payment. I think they got Christmas covered already.
When you can tell me that this trickle down is going to give Wal Mart employees enough raise to get them off food stamps, then you'll have my attention, otherwise, step off.

This will bring more, and better jobs for the U.S. Walmart employees may be able to work someplace better. There will always be low wage jobs for unskilled workers. Red herring.

No its not a red herring. There are lots of unskilled jobs at AT&T that pay a decent living wage.
Wal Mart, not so much.
So, get some work experience and get a better job. No one says you have to work at Walmart or McDonald's your whole life. There will always be low wage entry level jobs for unskilled labor. As Trump gets the economy rolling, there will be lots of better jobs available.

Or you can vote for Democrats, and go back to Obama's economic malaise.

I'm not a democrat.
I really thought you were a pretty smart guy but your buying the corporation BS.
And if you think all this good news about the economy was because Trump got elected...bless your heart.
