I didn't think their prices were spectacular. Overall they were more "okay" than some places, but nothing to crow about.
Prices were ok but they had a wide selection and coupons/free shipping was the best part.
What I don't understand (in their reply) was their location. I think most of their products are from other distributors in other states. I don't think anything comes from their location/state so the rules of their state don't apply.
Just me thinking (which I shouldn't do before going to work....or at work)

They are the king of "drop shipping". Where they take the order and have the manufacturer/distributor ship it directly. I generally won't buy from someone if I know they don't have it in their possession. Needless to say I never bought much from OP. An item here and there when it was a good deal but they weren't a consistent source.

I'm not sure why it affects the law in their state when they are just a broker for other companies where the product is sold from and shipped from. OP (IMO) is a broker since the product does not come to them but ships out elsewhere.
I don't know jack about jack but it feels like another step down the road.

It probably boils down to an entity incorporated in that state selling a product (involved in a legal business transaction) that they deem illegal. IOW, the money ends up in that state regardless of where the item originates from so they deem themselves able to ride herd over said company.

Got another reply from OP and that's kind of what they said.
No choice and I can get that, but they needed to do a bunch of PR work first. I guess they got a rub from the AG's office and had to take action.
I hold zero hard feelings for a company doing what they have to do. They assured me it wasn't by choice. They make money selling not reducing what they can sell, and 30 round mags sell.

Optics Planet has always required proof of mil or LE to order Hi Cap mags. There was a thread about it here on OSA not long ago.
