Don't shoot the messenger, unless you're saying that people around here vote for liberals? More importantly though, Oklahoma has never even been close to a front runner in education. Kinda shocked that you believe it's a secret.
IF anyone knows of a school district in Northeast Ok. If they furnish a place to do the shooting portion I will give free Carry classes to any and all teachers that will carry and I will bring in an Ex swat member\Trainer to show them what to do in an active shooter situation.

I opted out of another organizing convention going on this weekend. They are just frustrating for me. The democrats have been holding hands with OEA/NEA for decades and they have not accomplished anything. I can tell you for certain that the only thing they are on board with is raising the GPT tax. I can also say for certain that they are adamantly opposed to teachers carrying.
It will be on a district by district basis and will be primarily conservative teachers and districts, if allowed at all by the BOE of those areas.
I will be in touch with the group that is going and will report what is discussed.

I could start cop bashing, but that is not the topic.Yes, I do. My oldest daughter is a teacher and yes, I know they do an invaluable service and the world would be chaotic without them.
However...
I get so damned sick and tired of them pissing and moaning about needing more money. Their job is supossed to be a true calling just as mine.
When was the last time you saw cops on the capitol's lawn marching for more money? They knew the pay when they took the job. If they didn't like it, they should have chose another career.
