I just made up some, with 4.3gr Titegroup and 98gr on #4 shot, no crimp. I will shoot them tonight or Sat morning.
I think I've got some factory 9mm snake shot around here somewhere. A few left from a 10-pack purchased back in the 80's.....
Alright, I just shot all five without any cycling problems. A small bit of plastic was left in the cylinder, by the ring that is machined into the 9mm cylinder. I knocked it out easily with an unsharpened pencil. The spread was pretty big at 10 feet. I need to load some more and try and test them for power/spread at snake distance, maybe 5-7 feet. I am very pleased.

It was very soft shooting. I guess that will be ok if powerful enough. I talked to a guy, who said his sp101 38 jams with the factory CCI loads. The shells walk out from recoil and prevent the cylinder from moving.

With 5 grains on Unique in a 9mm case, you should get at least 1,000 fps. maybe a bit more...
If you have room, you can safely seat the capsule another .050 in the case...
Your load and shot weight are fine. I have shot the same exact load before, from a 9mm Ruger revolver, and lucky for me, that little 9mm load met a water moccasins head just before that water moccasin met my leg!
