There are oilers available that suck minute (and adjustable) amounts of cylinder/valve lubricant through the intake.

We used 'em on LPG V-4 Wisconsin engines on hot-oil trucks when I worked for an oil-field service company. :drunk2:
I don't think the 1/2 ton chevy boys that installed a tank and regulator in their pickup used oilers. Great Idea though.

I don't buy vehicles for fuel efficiency, and I suspect that there are a lot of people like me.

Yes and 90% of the pick up trucks I see driving around during the week have one person in them and and empty bed. But hey at least they look cool driving around in a pick up truck enjoying 15 mpg.

Got to love America! It’s nice to be able to drive whatever you want without someone like obama telling us we must drive a pathetic Prius (no offense to those who actually want to drive a Prius). And btw, my Duramax is reading 20+ mpg right now on the instant guage.

That would be me...but I enjoy closer to 21 mpg and the only reason I didn't buy a single cab is the difference in the ride with the longer wheelbase versus shorter. I never carry passengers in the rear but its a nice space to have on grocery day lol

Here, but occasionally There.
Kind of like what CHenry said, but our pickup is a Ford F450, whose whole purpose is to pull an 18,500 pound fifth wheel, which happens to be our home. In addition, the rear seat area of the F450 causes us to call it our "F450 Storage Shed." Extra stuff is in there.

And, I only "wish" I could get 15 mpg.

One or two folks in mine. I'm not sure what that designates or is improper. I see every vehicle make on the road with one person in it from semi's to Prius. I guess one can think they are saving the planet in a prius, or saving my investments in my Tundra.

It cost me $67 to fill up yesterday. My daughter just graduated from OU and drives an older Honda Accord. I told I'll buy it from her when she decides to get a new car. It will become my daily driver.

I think most Prius owners have just half a brain to not to waste money for whatever their needs are.... and aren't insecure..... no offense. :D 'Merica!!

I bought my sister's '08 Hyundai Elantra about two months ago for similar reasons. $30 fill-ups are a whole lot nicer than what I was spending on my Explorer.
