Lincoln County Republicans meet the 3rd Thursday of each month, usually at the courthouse in Chandler. Most of the candidates for county office attend the meetings when an election is pending. 24 candidates came to the Lincoln Day dinner but that was 2 weeks ago.
(No meeting this month due to the Lincoln Day dinner)

Rep. Kevin Wallace & Senator Jason Smalley usually attend as well. I don't think Kevin has a challenger. Smalley has been a good 2A supporter and is a good guy although I fear he is slipping to the dark side. His opponent isn't likely to be much of a challenge

Look at their entire body of work. Don't write off one just because they are an incumbent, or because they are a lawyer. There really are some good incumbents and lawyers. Don't be single is sure, even 2A. As important as that is, they will also be supporters of issues that may not be good for our state. Take a look at some of the members on here, solid, strong 2A advocates, but a lot of disagreement on other important issues.

Most important advice...do some open-minded study.

There is one seeking the post of governor that is so pro-2A, that early in the campaign, started to have an AR give-a-way, until his handlers helped him understand that wasn't a good idea. He is probably the most outspoken supporter, but please look at some of his other activities and history before you mark your ballot.

I don't so much have a moral problem with medical MJ, but I am having difficulty buying into 788 as written.

Hey I know, tax the MJ at 50% or higher and say it's for edumacashun. Then it'll pass for sure.
