Got lucky to enjoy the sunrise on the water and chase down some sand bass with my fly rod this morning. Didn't find them until late and they were ready to head deep for the day. Caught 4 from the boat, just out of casting reach from the guys on the dock. Home by 930 for family time.

Guys it is a HOT time of year for the SB and hybrids. This is the last 2 weekends. The picture of the cooler is only the 1st 30-min on the water. Water temps are creeping up around 82 and the shad have just spawned out in most area, so there is about to be a lot of topwater activity in the next couple of weeks.
