I order most of the bullets I use from these guys and up until this last order things have went well. Usually shipped three or four days after the order is put in. This last order from Xtreme Bullets has been less than stellar.

Ordered On July 6th so probably closed for the holiday. No problem but figure they will be on the ball the next working day. I am sure a decent number of orders came in but everything should be in stock since that is what it showed. Their inventory system should be deducting things when orders are put in so selling out should also not be a problem. Anyway after 20 days of sitting in the "processing" limbo it shipped. For the last 10 days it has been at a point where it was in the final stages so no canceling or modifying the order.

Maybe it's me being spoiled but even around a holiday I normally see things shipped out within a week of ordering and Independence Day isn't THAT big of a deal for orders to be made the way I see it. I also made an order the same day for a part from Numrich and it was here the 10th. Anyway I know they are having issues https://www.gunsamerica.com/blog/freedom-munitions-bankruptcy/ but if they are going to take three weeks for something to ship (order will not be picked up till tomorrow) it may be time to start looking elsewhere for bullets.

I really like one thing about X-Treme plated bullets. They are very clean shooting. That's it.

They are a total crapshoot as to whether you'll get any accuracy at all out of them from your gun. I can buy coated hardcast from any number of vendors and know they are going to shoot. Not quite as clean, but they go where they are supposed to. Can't buy X-Treme knowing that.

I haven’t bought their Xtreme ammo before but I have bought their reloaded ammo. Bout like 4K in 9mm. It was not the most accurate and there always seemed to be an excess of unburnt powder on my hands and arms. It was pretty cheep though. I think it was like $150 a k. Good for plinking

I am reloading my own and the accuracy has been fine for what I am doing with it. I shot a USPSA match without issue and hit all the plates pretty easily. I shot a couple boxes of 223 that they reloaded and it was fine as well but that was 3 or 4 years ago. The bullets have always went downrange and struck the target without keyholing so it's hard to complain about that.

And I realize that they are also going through restructuring but they are able to stay up and running so there is no reason why they can not ship out an order in a timely manner.

At the last BDC GSSF match, I scored a target for a guy and saw evidence of tumbling at 15 yards. At 25 yards I could actually see the bullets tumbling and coming apart (likely shedding the plating) Attached is what the 25 yard target looked like. Glock 10mm. Only 2 of the 10 rounds were stable at 25 yards. I asked if it was reloads and he said it was factory. However it was Ammoload which is a Howell Munitions - freedom company. It appeared to be x-treme bulllets. Switch to do Armscor ammo fixed the issue.

I’ve seen tumbling with x-treme bullets at 10-15 yards in many other instances. I personally have never had the issue but have only used them in .45 and .40. But I won’t buy any more regardless.

I think Berry’s makes a better played bullet but I can an excellent quality jacketed bullet for less in the quantity I use. X-Treme was very close in price also. This was based on 9mm 124g.
