I think we have enough service at a couple of our stands....looking at some models the price is around 250. Would be nice to get pics w/o disturbing animals by having to physically pull the card....and to be able to get pics the day before hunting.

Anyone have experience? Models to stay away from? Or is the technology not there yet?

I’ve been using cellular cameras for about 10 years. The technology is there, but the camera companies are barely keeping up with the cellular companies. My first cameras were 2g, and ATT quit servicing 2g devices. The cameras still work but just won’t send pictures anymore. I bought new cameras which are 3g, and now Verizon has announced the are planning to quit servicing 3g devices (ATT hasn’t made the announcement YET but will).

All mine have been HCO cameras, and the current model is the Spartan (currently have 8). I’ve never had any problems with their cameras, and they’ve worked for me even when signal has been a little sketchy.
