In addition to the bucks, I’ve caught 3 doe on camera, each with twins in tow. Looks like my depredation plan last winter is paying off. 7 coyotes and 3 bobcats out of play can’t do anything but help the fawn population. Now if they would just open season on road hunters, I could manage this property even better.
We have huge issues with road hunters. :finger:
Some have paid hefty fines, but the majority are never caught. We find the headless carcasses while bird hunting later in the season.
Went and dumped some corn and put new batteries in the cams the other day. They went dead a couple of months ago but it looks promising. Food plots going in on the 7th.

Checking mine today. They’ve been out a week.
Checked one place with 1800+ pics and only one scrawny 6 point with the same group of does in every pic. Its a small area, only 22 acres so it typically only holds does. Its when the bucks start roaming is when I see some decent antlers.
The other spot was kind of disappointing. Usually see big buck racks there, but nada. Does and dinks.
