Advertised AR-15s as Colt,BCM,Daniel Defense etc. The lower receiver will be marked Anderson, PSA or something inexpensive. Turns out the charging handle is the only name brand part.

And as dennishoddy pointed out, the interchangeable use of sell, sail & sale.

I'm going to sale my gun. When correct engrish should say I'm going to sell my gun.

Cool. What kinda gun are you going to sale? How many clips does it have and are you saleing them with the gun? Is this gun your saleing a full-semi-auto? I put one up for sell here one time and even though it was a custom gun, the guy didn't want to give me what I was asking? Can you belief that? And before I said I would sale it, I told ever body it had a lot of work done to it; I mean a lot! My brother Darryl and his cousin, Daryl who is good at fixing tractors and cars, and me did a trigger job, undercut, custom stipple, filed down the sides of the top part of the gun I was saleing so it would be faster to draw, and a custom paint job. Yeah, so I only paid $550 new for it, but with all the parts I bought (new slide stop lever and a spring) and the labor put into it, it was easy worth $900. And all I was asking was $850! I just wanted to get back what I had in it, you know, when I saled it? That Krylon camo paint they sale there at Walmart ain't cheap, you know?

Joel, I have a full custom Hi-Point 380 that has a trigger and barrel that I would trade ya!
Hey, all my Hi-Points have triggers & barrels... :D

Not exactly a "saying in a sales ad" thing, but making an offer and being totally ignored is fairly high on my list of annoyances.

A friendly reply declining an offer will often make me offer more. Sometimes a good bit more if it's something I really want.

Maybe it's just me... :drunk2:

Hey I wasn’t ignoring his offer to trade his custom hi point for my custom Lorcin (or whatever), I was trying to decide between it and a full semi automatic custom Raven 25.

"Make an offer" ads with no asking price but which conclude with "lowball offers will be ignored" or some variation of "don't insult me..."

I've always wondered about these ads.

I think ' Hey pal, don't you know what your merchandise is worth ?'

I can't buy and sell it too. If you can't even give me a rough idea of what you want for it, then I'm out.
