I pretty much stick to my training regimen year-around. Mostly running 2-3 times a week; strength training a couple times a week; running my scrambler with obstacles every weekend and shooting at least 3 times a month.

One of the newer things at my Scrambler is the tractor tire flip. I set out 2 tires, one medium sized and one big one. The big one is pretty damned heavy.

I do daily 12 oz arm curls. I've got some highly defined 12 pack abs.

Seriously, your workout regimen is something that a lot of people should emulate. We have became a nation of jelly bellies and fat butts because of inactivity. Great job keeping up.

He can run circles around me and can shoot too. Twilight R&G is a month away and he's gonna make me look bad, speaking of I need to go shoot my Scorpion. Try not to get embarrassed...

I do several HIIT workouts focusing on lower body with my fully loaded plate carrier (~35 lbs) and run 3 miles with it fairly regularly as well. I won't run the competition with the plate carrier that heavy, but I train with the extra weight so it's easier on game day.

Currently I don't have the space I used to at the range to practice running drills, transitions or awkward shooting positions though:cry3:

Another Scrambler run today. Getting more time behind the Burris scope, learning the reticle. I also tested a new chest rig today from UW Gear (www.uwgearinc.com) With more and more RnGs increasing the round count, I needed a way to carry more ammo. Wind was tricky and variable today. I missed the wind call a bit at the 300 but still managed a few off center hits.

Got a good run in on the Scrambler, just a run, no shooting this time. I'll come back this weekend and get a couple shooting runs in. Got a few tire flips in as well. Got to watch out for the extra hazards!!

I got my ticket for the winter event! Anyone else competing?

I was 17th overall last year (out of 50 maybe?). I'm hoping to crack the top ten this go round.
