Glad you guys were able to make it to the end of the video. I lasted 15 seconds before hitting the back button. IMHO it's a good thing the man doesn't do narration for audio books.

Approximately 95%of Utube videos badly need editing. Most should be shortened to 3 minutes or less.
Then there's the voice problem....

This is why you buy pre lock Smiths!

I've had this happen to all three pre-lock Smiths I've owned. A 50's 27, '81 686, & an '86 629 Classic Hunter. Luck of the draw. Like Don Franson used to say, sometimes you get a gun that was made on a Friday.

Troof!!, I think the ejector rod was just backing off. Still frustrating with a relatively new gun

Each time it it happened to me, this was the culprit, though the classic 629 barrel cant didn't help either.
