Yes they are. Its seems they are almost always out of stock however there is a seller on ebay where I get my Altamonts from. He usually has what I want in stock and free shiipping. His name is norgestar and he is out of Haysville, Ks so I they usually arrive next day.

The "knob" on the cylinder release had a broken retaining pin and 2 out of the 8 chambers would not always fire.
After removing the cylinder and re-pinning the knob and doing a bit of filing/polish work on the cylinder face it now seems to be working correctly.
