About the best a 22lr can be suppressed is in the 110 to 120 db range.

I have wore ear pro all my life i.e. Around aircraft (USAF), generators, heavy equipment (combat engineer), firearms (military and personal) and even lawn mowers. At year at age 62, VA provided hearing aids. Life is better. Protect the original equipment.

This is proof the republicans are no different than the democrats. They could have introduced this over the last three years but didn’t. They wait until the dems take back control and then reintroduce it. This doesn’t have a chance in you know where of passing. The dems want to rip apart the 2A not make it better. I’m sick and dang tired of our treasonous governement.

Yep, it's dead for now. Maybe forever. :(

It died in committee and then really died with the new Congress. Though it's been reintroduced for the 116th Congress, it's nothing more than virtue signaling so that reps can say, "Look we're fighting for you, keep contributing to my campaign because I'm afraid to get voted out."

If they never fought to get it to the floor, they never fought at all. Like you said, meaningless virtue signaling. :(

When the Republicans were serious about National Park carry, they attached it as a rider to a must-pass funding bill.

While I disagree on principle with such logrolling, it's not forbidden in the US Congress; when they really want to get things done, they know how to make it happen even against opposition. Failure to do so is, itself, a signal.
