You really think so? I kinda doubt it for these reasons: chances are pretty slim for this bill to go anywhere, there's tons of sellers of these type firearms and most folks that want one or 10 probably already have em. I don't think we will be seeing a big price jump. IMO
This will be done until it eventually passes. What is coming after this is all semi autos are going to be banned. I say it all the time that the 2A will be wiped out eventually. Then all the other amendments. It may fail a few more times but the reason it is repeated is the hope it will pass and become law. And I wouldn’t count on Trunp to veto it if it did pass.

After Trump bypassed congress and banned bump stocks to make the liberals "feel good" after the Obama administration ruled them legal to own, it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't sign an assault weapons ban if one ever passed.
We are one election away from something like this happening. There are plenty of seats up for grabs in 2020 and there were multiple seats that flipped democrat in the past year that have been red seats for 20 to 30 years.
