I am just curious how many are for it and against it? Have you contacted you district Representative? With all the new people in office what is the over all feeling of it making it to the Governers desk?
Even if the new people there dont vote for it, it will still pass. It passed with a landslide last year and as long as most of those same people (the ones that are still there) vote yes again, it will make it to Stitts desk and I believe hes smart enough to sign it.
Well Stitt said when he was campaigning he supported Constitutional Carry and would sign. Then at the beginning of December when the Bill was introduced again. His spokes person said we have no comment on that now. So i hope he honors what he said he would do.
Of course he's gonna say that until he has something to read. If they put some other BS in it, he may have an issue with it. And its unpopular for a Governor to sign a bill that passes only marginally. If it gets lots of YES votes, he would then look like a 1 termer to veto it.
Mattress Mary also promised to sign the bill if it got to her desk. I guess being immoral and lying are one of the same to Mary. I made a bunch of call the last go round. Not sure I've got the time or energy to do it again.
I have already made calls, and will continue to make calls as well. I as someone who was a LEO for a long time was disgusted and heart broken that so many agencies and LEO's didn't uphold the oath they swore to protect "The Constitution". That they asked Mary Failing to veto the bill. Which only shows and showed that they dont, uphold the Oath, and they dont trust people to be able to be responible with God given (not government) rights.
Well that doesn’t sound very good. If he lies like Mary did hopefully the people will be smart enough to let him know his career as a politician is over. I am not convinced it will pass this time around. I said in another thread that if it does then they people that voted for it really do support it and want it to pass. But if it doesn’t make it this time then we know it was all a game they were playing to look like they tried but Mary wouldn’t sign it. Even though they knew she wouldn’t when they passed it and that’s the only reason they did. But hopefully they do what’s right and pass it again and Stitt keeps his word. We can’t afford to have a Mary Replica.
