Now that the bump stock is “banned” and owners are supposed to destroy or turn them in, I am still seeing listings on Armslist for them. Isn’t it illegal to sell/buy them at this time (pending legal rulings)? I have zero desire for a bump stock but is it possible that the Armslist sellers are either a) breaking current ATF regulations or b) “sellers” trying to trap buyers? At this point, why would anybody buy one? Random thoughts...

i got an email advertisement for a bump stock, said dont miss your chance only $160

was wondering the same thing about it being a trap?

several years ago i won an auction on gunbroker, the guy said if i wanted to save a few bucks he would ship it right to my door, guy said he does it all the time, i thought this is either a stolen gun or an atf agent, anyhow i had him ship to a ffl all turned out well
