The 2A is a cornerstone of this great nation... but only as long as the nation's government enforces (or at least tolerates) it.

Comminfornika, NY and Il have all taken away 2A rights with no repercussion from the feds. The middle part of this country is a bastion of gun rights while the left coasts have denied their citizens the same rights because the voters elected the people that took those rights away.

I know laws like that will never pass, but I just don't get why so many are eager to accept and embrace these "forward thinking" and "progressive" ideas that to a point expand your rights, but in the same breath want to restrict other rights. The extreme of that being the left saying we need to expand the rights of illegal aliens and that we also need to restrict the rights of citizens - that should be viewed as treason.

If they wanted, and they have done so recently, they will storm trooper in and people will be prosecuted. That is if they wanted to do this. They don't want to do this because of the backlash. Eventually it marijuana will come off the DEA's list.

NFA Firearms, whole new story. Let any state try to screw with the ATF and it's regulations and you will see people going to jail. Do you want to make a wager on that one?
