Finally, a reasonable video on the P365

Mine is a later model, but I've had not a single issue. Probably 600 to 700 rounds down the pipe of various brands/configuration/grains. Ate every single one.

I suspect that a lot of reported failures from these small carry guns are due to how snappy they are and people limp wristing.
Snappy? This is the least snappy micro I have shot in a full size round(9, 40)
I have 1050 rounds through my P365 and it is prob the most pleasureable micro/sub compact handgun I have ever shot.
1050 rounds. 1 failure to lock back in the first 250 rounds. 2 light strikes on steel case ammo at around 400-450 rounds. 1 win bulk round that had a case about .020 too long.
I have not cleaned it yet, not even initially.
None of those duds or long case rounds would fire in my HK either.
I still prefer to carry my P2000 or P2000sk but when I need a real thin, super small gun, this thing is a winner.

Just watched the video.
I’ve shot the keltec P11 9mm, numerous Kahr in 9 & 40.
This P365 matches or surpasses those in my opinion in most areas. Either round count, weight, size, accuracy, triggeror all of those. Edit. And less recoil
I don’t like the fact that it is not full time ambi mag release and the mags catch on my palm when changing.
As far as snappy, the guy reviewing in the video probably has 50-75 lbs on me and I have xtreme tennis elbow and I find this little gun to be pleasurable to shoot and accurate.
Yes it does have some striker drag and that concerns me.

In my opinion, my Springfield XD40 has much more 'snap'. I certainly wouldn't want to do 200 rounds at a time with it while 200 is no problem with the P365. (Yeah, I know --- apple to pears. But relatively speaking, even considering the differences in the ammo, the P365 is much more pleasant to shoot.)

I have the XD-40 mod 2 compact, and with the pinky extender mag I find it very mangable it is my primary carry
