Regular season NFL ratings were up 5% this year and the the AFC/NFC championship games had the highest ratings in years as well.

The low(er) ratings for the super bowl were mostly due to one team, the Rams, having a weak fan base and a certain amount of fatigue over the Patriot’s domination over the last two decades.

Most folks have gotten over the Kaepernick drama except for, it seems, folks who claim to not care about the NFL, or won’t watch the NFL but just can’t help post about it when they get a little nugget they can use for virtue signaling and confirmation bias lol.

Not true going by Twitter and other outlets. Quite a bit of stir up from the left about the halftime show etc..... if you watch the Patriots... you're a racist... blah blah blah. Hell ESPN still hasn't let it go via their FB and Twitter postings.

I will say that you're right....this SB sucked not because of political issues but because nobody wanted to watch the Patriots in another SB. Plus Maroon 5? You're pissing off the men and women with that one.
