Bought 10 acres last year by T Bird. Want to buy more, around 40+, near Seminole or Earlsboro. IMO, can't go wrong buying land.

The population does nothing but increase.. 20-20+ years ago a good size block could be bought for $500-800 an acre.. Not today, prices are up there.. Along the lines of 2K an acre, Seminole county will be a best buy county.

I live about 10 minutes from okc gun club..

If you don't have a problem with their dues, which really isn't bad, you'll be shooting by yourself more often than not over at the Cowboy Action range, there's around 5 or 6 bays over there. Rarely has there been someone shooting in more than one or two other bays. I've never had to share a bay with anyone when I go out but I typically try to go during the day.
When they have an actual shoot it's pretty busy.

I was out at OKCGC yesterday morning, at the benchrest range. I was alone, until another guy arrived just as I was leaving.

I got there about 8, left about 9.30

Edit: at about $12/month for dues, after the first year, I don't see a problem with the cost. If you can't afford that, you can't afford to shoot anyway.
