Picked up a Canik TP9SFX. Was hoping to shoot it today, but I can't seem to get myself off the couch and out in the cold to do it. lol

Finished putting together a partial M1912 squad kit. Only purchased accessories for one pistol...oiler, cosmic grease / parts can, cleaning rod, screwdriver / takedown tool, two bore brushes, and cleaning patches. I may add to the kit over time to complete it. If so, I'll need to pick up 9 additional cleaning rods, 9 takedown tools, and 8 bore brushes.

That's very cool.

Thanks...I think that the M1912 squad kits are interesting items. There are many different types of boxes and accessories that were used from WWI through post-WWII so there are quite a few different variations to collect. I also ended up with a spare pre-WWII brass cleaning rod, brass grease can, and oiler so I may put together another partial kit if I run across another box in the future. A complete squad kit will bring $300-$400+, but you can sometimes find the boxes and accessories for well below retail prices by searching on eBay under incorrect item descriptions.

Check out the M1912 squad kit reference thread off of USMF in the link below. Lot's of good info and some nice example photos of complete kits and some of the more rare accessories.

Picked this up over the weekend. I got it cheap because it needs a new firing pin but otherwise appears to function. I ordered a replacement pin made from stainless steel instead of going back with the original style pin that likes to break.
