Thanks for the input everyone! I got a smoking deal on a Tahoe. Drove them both and just loved the Taco. The 4Runner was really nice as well but I felt I was getting a lot more for the same money. I was pleasantly surprised with the pep that the 4Runner had, being that it was a V6. Both were 2015 with same mileage, both were loaded. I felt the Tahoe rode better and was quieter. Also, the taco was a lot bigger, especially on the inside. So I am extremely happy and I feel I would have been happy in a 4Runner as well, this one just suits me. Ended up working out a deal where I got an 3 year 48k mile warranty through Ford in at the same price as the 4Runner.

That's one sharp looking ride. Congratulations

I’m possibly in the same boat - Company Car for almost 25 years and now looking at car allowance.

I have 4 kids so I need a useable 3rd row.

I’ll be getting and Escalade or Mercedes GL550.

The GL550 seems like a no brainer. The Escalade is actually rated lower than the Yukon Denali. :(

That's why I went with the ZR2. I wanted the 4Runner to win the comparo, but it just didn't. :(

Congrats!

Bought an ESV for my Wife and it’s our second. The GL550 isn’t quite as big as standard Escalade.

We’ve enjoyed the 2 we’ve had.

Had to come back and look. I thought you mentioned getting the Tahoe at a Ford dealer, but we followed an all black Tahoe towards OKC and it had a brake light out. It also had a dealer tag with a buy date of February 16, so I wondered if it was you. However, the dealer tag said something about Ferguson, so seeing the Foss name in the image above, I now know it wasn't you.

Yep! Thanks for looking out! Foss is my family’s dealership back in Southwest Kansas. My Tahoe was a local trade-in.
