Unplug everything and throw the antenna lead out the window. :D

Seriously, you cannot protect against a direct lightning strike. The power is just too massive.

The best thing is to not be the tallest structure in the area.
:drunk2:
My cousin did fire restoration and worked on a couple of homes that were hit by lightning. You could see where every electrical line traveled through the walls by the scorch marks on the sheet rock, and every appliance was ruined.

I got a firestick from a guy in MWC. He has a tv service through him that costs $25 per month. I get all the sports, movies, etc. I could ever want. It's ryan's multiverse media fire stick sales. look him up on facebook.

Do you have the TV service? If so how well do you like it?

I do have the service. I get a little buffering issue but I think that is on my end. I get all the sports channels available plus all the movie channels. we made the switch a couple of years ago and haven't looked back. We love it.

Mrs. GED and I both enjoy the frndly chanel. It has all the old TV shows...Beverly Hillbillies, Andy Griffith, My Three Sons, Dragnet, Adam-12, In the Heat of the Night and a host of others.

We also get Hulu. I like The Rookie and Reservation Dogs. I actually know the kid (Sterlin Harjo) who wrote and created Res Dogs. He's from my home town and I know his entire family very well. His comedic mind is absolutely brilliant!

So, the first post of a newbie is reviving an old thread, and linking to a sales pitch.

That doesn't seem suspicious to me...
We’ve been bombarded today. I’ve banned 2 others. Don’t know which mod got to this guy first but I’m sure there have been others today.
