I believe there are presences that are unexplainable. Call them ghosts or whatever you like, but I too have had experiences that push me more to the believer side. The most notable happened in the middle of the day, bright daylight, no alcohol or other substances involved, so pretty certain I was in the company of some sort of spirit, entity, whatever.
I am guessing that this was after the 2016 election. I am pretty sure that sasquatch was alive and well until then. Hillary lost and spent some time in the woods. Sasquatch has not been seen again.
I think I saw.....something. It was 1982 at Mardi Gras.
I went to the Big Easy for my first Mardi Gras.....
Went with a buddy who was raised there and we went and stayed with his family. His brother made a ...swill....of Laudanum/Tincture of Opium mixed in a glass of wine.
After a few of these and other assortment of "goodies"...I saw, felt, and heard ALOT! I HEARD COLORS AND TASTED SUNSHINE.
3 days later I woke up..I believe St. Louis Cemetary no.1....no shirt...no pants....no shoes.
Wearing 1 sock and my underware.
No my a** hole was not sore nor.bleeding!!!

I know for a fact that a few whitefaced black angus cattle in the woods on a moonlight night will make you believe in ghosts. Until you finally figure out what they are. Downright spooky, just seeing white blobs moving up and down as they walk.
They are like that right along the highway as well. When driving an 18-wheeler many years ago, I sensed something just ahead, but couldn't distinguish anything. So, I slowed down anyway. Just about 50 feet from the cow critter, she turned her head and I just then saw her white face.
So, what did I sense????
I do believe in ghost as hunting them is a hobby of the wife and I. Well it was before my health went downhill. From what we have seen 95% or so of most ghost are an imprint of an event that just keeps replaying. Usually something tragic like a murder or suicide. You can not talk to them and get a response because it is just a playback. Very few ghost are intelligent for want of a better way to describe them. Those that will respond to you fall into this category.

Well, we have convinced a lot of folks we do. We have a security cam in the garage to monitor motion and sounds. Every so often we get a white object at night on the infrared screen that flutters around the garage and disappears, only later to show up again. Kind of looks like a small flying carpet thing.
It's actually a bird that gets in the garage when it goes open and then gets trapped in there when it closes. The infrared exposure makes it look real interesting though and kind of spooky.

The only friend I had from Waukomis is dead and he has not returned as a ghost. I'd really like to see Herb again. Anyway. I also heard about the famous or infamous "Green Light" south of Lahoma. I actually saw it once with a bunch of other kids. We were all, ahh, inebriated, and having Roman Candle fights when it appeared. We even chased it in cars and trucks. Of course it vanished.
I had a Buddhist barber a couple of years ago that said if they lived a good life that they would come back as something nice. I told her I wanted to come back as a pencil so I could write anything I wanted. She didn't think it was as funny as I did...
