All this talk about about BBQ got my mouth to watering so I fired up the grill yesterday afternoon for the first time this season......did pork ribs, chicken quarters, corn on the cob and mama made some of her 'to die for' deviled eggs.
Smoke the egg whites for about 10 minutes next time. I started doing this a few years back and we wont have them any other way now. A BBQ joint needs to pick up on this.

Still there, ate there about 2 weeks ago. Been going there since 1975, when I was in high school. Still go there to meet my friends from high school to catch up and tell lies. Good place, love their waffle potatoes and dip them in their mild sauce. Going again 1st week of April too. It's worth a visit.
Isn't there a place there called Jake's Rib?
It's been over twenty years ago, but it was good then and seemed pretty popular with the locals.

An old friend of mine, that has since passed, knew the owners and tried to get them to start using a secret recipe bbq sauce I had.
All of the customers that tried it liked it more than their usual sauce but it was going to cost a few dollars more per five gallons than they were paying at the time so they passed on it.
Jake's is awful IMO. The only thing they're famous for is giving you more fries than four people could eat. I honestly don't know how that place stays in business.
