I smoked 2 racks of baby back pork ribs today using the 3 2 1 method and there was none left.

There used to be a place on hwy 33 east of Guthrie close to Langston called woody's and it was great. They would smoke their baked potatoes and they were great. Has anyone been there?

Smoke the egg whites for about 10 minutes next time. I started doing this a few years back and we wont have them any other way now. A BBQ joint needs to pick up on this.

We smoke eggs with the shell on. The shells are permeable and the smoke goes right through.

Try Smokin’ an onion. The best I know of is a Vidalia Sweet onion, cut the top off about an inch or so down. Put a pat of butter and a beef bouillon cube on top. Wrap it up in foil and set it on the smoker. Let it go for a couple of hours, then unwrap the top, put a little of that fancy French cheese on top (whatzzitcalled?)and viola! The BEST French Onion Soup you ever thrung a lip around. It’s best to set the foil wrapped onion in a bowl to serve it.

I don’t care where you like BBQ, but I betcha like this onion!

I just remembered that there is a place on Route 66 and Indian Meridian called The Boundary that I keep hearing is good but I have never tried it.

If it's the place I'm thinking of, I ate there once a few years ago. It wasn't bad but I've never bothered going back.

The Swadleys combined with Jim's Fried Chicken? I've was raised on the original Jim's before Swadleys bought em out.

The 'new' Jim's Chicken certainly ain't the same as the 'original' Jim's Chicken....at least to me.

Yeah, I don't live far from the Jim's on 23rd...but we don't go there often. If I want BBQ, Spencer's is right down the road and Jim's chicken isn't really that good. The stand-alone Swadley's are good. I had lunch at one in Mustang yesterday. Friendly people and the brisket was good.
