I am a .243 fanboy. I recently purchased a savage Axis 243 with the accutrigger and a wood stock. Turns out the wood stock is made by Boyd’s. I put a Riton Mod 5 6x24x50 IR on it. This will be my deer/coyote/target rifle for many years to come. I know a lot of folks don’t think highly of the Axis, but this one shoots really well. I prefer the .243 because the similarities to the .308 without the recoil. I am pretty pleased with my set up. So how about some pics?
