only time i ever carried a pistol was on a pistol belt in a flap holster on my right hip,,,a little rear of the hip ball so it didn't beat on the joint so much. now they're just stashed around different places, i never go anywhere anymore thus have no need for any kind of holster,,,altho i do have several, part of the 1911 addiction

The owner of keepers concealment is 300 + ,I'm around 280 at last check. If appendix is uncomfortable to you your not doing it right

I’ve always carried on the hip outside the wateband. Either covered by a shirt or jacket. I’ve tried appendix carry didn’t like it. Not gonna go try it again. I’m satisfied with my practice, training and confidence in hip carry. If it works for you, do it. It’s not my style. I appreciate your point of view; however,It seems apparent we aren’t going to agree on this point.

It used to terrify me carrying appendix but now it's no big deal. I still will not reholster without taking the holster out, putting the gun in it, and then putting the holstered gun back. Something like your shirt could get caught up and cause a discharge. At work I carry at the 4 o'clock position IWB, when not it's 3 o'clock OWB, but when it's a gotta make a short run Appendix is so quick and easy.
This is why I'm heading to TDA for carry. I'm not totally there yet, I still carry striker guns but I'm very careful with reholstering a striker gun. I've grown attached to the piece of mind of feeling the hammer of a TDA reholstering. You can also get a Gadget for most Glocks that gives you the same basic thing. But I don't carry Glocks generally.

And this whole appendix carry thing smacks of racism and cultural appropriation anyways. Steal the whole concept of "Mexican Carry" and call it something more politically correct. Cept that the "appendix" is an absolutely useless organ in the body. Not manly at all. Why didn't they just call it "pecker carry" or something? Geez, something new every single day. Walk upright, speak the truth and shoot straight, that's all ya need........

A very interesting video. I like it. Was I offended, not in the least. Will someone else be offended, for sure but I'm not interested. Will someone call me out for these little comments, bet on it. It was still an interesting video.

I exclusively carry appendix, but only because I’ve received a ton of training, practice a lot and run quality gear (Keepers). But YMMV [emoji2371]

Some of you need to take some classes and you might learn how much you don't know.

Anyone want to tell me how this man (whom is obviously not slim) can't carry or that his method of carry is wrong? How would you feel going up against him and a timer?

The last time I was in B&M in Shawnee this fellow was in there.. He was most informative and quite entertaining.. I much enjoyed my shopping that day.. His wife was hounding him on the cell phone and he was tooo funny.. Now I know who he is, I'll have to see about spending some time with him some time..
