Y'all, the report was released to the DOJ, not the public. And it may never be released to the public. There's no sweeping it under the rug going on like is normal.

There have been quite a few threads here on OSA with folks ranting about how incompetent Mueller is/was, how he was unfit for the job, how he was just a part of the deep state effort to get rid of Trump etc...
If you think that, then you can't use a report based on an investigation headed by him as "proof" that Trump is innocent or guilty of anything. That's my point.
So, what would you like for all of us to say?
If Mueller is a hack, a hired gun, a part of the cabal against Trump, incompetent and despicable....then I would expect condemnation and dismissal of his report, regardless of the content. I would expect integrity and coherent standards. You can't rail against the investigator for years and then use his report to say "See, I told you Trump didn't do anything wrong".
It's as bad as the Dems calling Cohen, a convicted liar, in front of Congress to testify against Trump.
It's kind of like when we rant and rave against "activist judges" and "legislating from the bench" but then we cheer when a court case goes in our favor.
That's what I thought when Mueller got started. Folks would say to me that Mueller is buddies with the Trump opposition and he will find something. I said , Great, if he finds nothing I guess we will know he tried his best.While you do have a point, there is a flip side. That is that if we take that Mueller is in fact a "deep state operative" and he still can't put Trump away, that means Trump's corruption and all the allegations against him aren't really what was claimed. Right?
Regardless of if he is incompetent, a schill, a hired gun, a scumbag or a moron, the bottom line is, after 2 freaking years and $25 million or so, they basically came up with sh|t. nothing. nada. bupkus.
That's the REAL story. In spite of the VAST amount of 'evidence', the foregone conclusions, the inconceivably loaded and biased slanderous media coverage, the ridiculous fearmongering and opinion masquerading as fact - for two solid years - it has all turned out to be nothing. and is there any introspection? Any questioning of the foregone conclusion that the guilt is there, just unproven, and not one person in the WORLD is willing to turn on President Trump to bring it to light? Nope. Not a single question still in the shameless and shameful left-wing media. Zero.
