In this modern time, true stories just aren't as entertaining as written tales. Not a bad flick, but yeah, not great.
This movie came out in limited release (or something like that) in theaters a couple of weeks before it was released on Netflix, but I couldn't find it playing anywhere in OK.
Must have been shown only in the bigger cities, because the newspapers in Chicago and L.A., I believe, reviewed it then.
An interesting biography of Hamer that came out a few years ago:
