My opinion is; You should buy what you want -- There seems to be less expensive options -- but is it what YOU want! -- If you really want it and really can afford it. You should go and buy it -- I have had quite a few (more than I like to admit to) What was I thinking moments !!!!

For now; time is on your side -- Don't think that Saint is going anywhere -- You can always do what I do, buy it after the price increases -- It makes you remember those moments even more !!!

I would go with one of the cheaper options, reason being like Glock 'em down I to had taken a few stolen firearms reports that the weapon was stolen from a vehicle.
Ask yourself this question, do you want to loose a 1300 dollar weapon to a thief or a 500 dollar one?

Neither.

I rarely leave a firearm in a vehicle. My ideal situation for that would be a quick access lock box bolted to the vehicle for a pistol and a if I were carrying a long gun, a locking bolted quick access rack like used in a police car.

Something like this.

I ended up getting two cheaper ones 5.56 and 7.62 x 39
I always have a pistol with me but I was looking to place something more with more bite always look back at the truck driver from LA riots. I'm now in my sixties and fighting someone off would be harder than before.

Bought Radical Arms 10.5 $500 local guy so got two for under cost of Saint. Thanks to those who said two cheaper I want these for use by any member of family grandson mostly, little loud but that's what they make hearing protection for, working towards two cans if I can still set up trust.

For your FYI, most of those handcuff-style long gun locks used in patrol cars are really easy to open without a key. Something to keep in mind.
