Gene still owns it, but Cloverleaf Precision out of Yukon run the range. There's been a couple threads on here about the changes; Jay from Cloverleaf posted quite a bit to clear up misconceptions about what was going on out there.

Yes they're only open to the public a few days a week. It is nothing like it was a couple years ago, they've made (in my opinion) many major improvements. Before Cloverleaf took over I've been down range when people have shot before as well, with no recourse from anybody at the range. If that happens now, from what I hear, you're permanently banned from the place.

For 100 yards it's a good option and the closest for me by far so I'll keep going there. I closed my office tomorrow morning to go shoot at Fouled Bore but just saw that they're closed tomorrow to set up for a national match so for a Thursday morning, my only real option is to head to Lexington...

I have been since the change but too rich for my blood.
One the fact being down range and people shooting that to me is a lack of communication many times.
When I would shoot there or anywhere I always looked everyone in the eye and asked and told them we need to go down range and wait until everyone was ready and made sure the range was no longer hot.

Some people are timid and do not want to speak up and make things happen.
But there is always that idiot that just does not pay attention.
I have seen them and I stopped them.
It is up to all of us to step up when needed.

I have been itching to go to Lexington myself.
