I think the doughnut boys (sorry to our resident LEO fellas :) ) were correct. They can accomplish their so called "audit" by letting local Law Enforcement know whats going on ahead of time.
Why would I need to tell the strong arm of the executive branch what I am doing, if it is my Right. I am sorry, but the police are not my daddy.

I do not understand your post. The guy was not violating the law, the police actually were violating his Rights.

You asked why you would need to tell them, I only gave you a good reason to do so. You are correct, the gentleman was not violating the law. I don't see where the police violated anything, they received a call and responded accordingly. Maybe the dispatcher should have asked the caller if the gun had a brace or butt stock?? You think they would know the difference?

as soon as they showed up, they should have said "Hi" he should have handed over his SDA Card, they should have said thank you and walked way. Drawing a firearm on him and harassing him after they established he was within his Rights, violates the SDA law.

It’s about common sense. Why perform actions that trigger LEO and the general public against gun rights? It’s really simple - we need the general public to accept the sight of firearms in the public space. It’s a slow process of routinely seeing concealed handguns that are printed or exposed, and open carried guns displayed in a non-threatening way. Playing tactical Timmy in a public park is BS and does not help our 2A rights.

you know you said not to follow you around and insult you. Since you have done that, you have sent me insulting PM's and post directly after me responding to my post. Why dont you grow up and figure out why I do not like you as a man. Try leaving me alone.

Post up the supposedly "insulting" PM's you say I sent you then. Perhaps you mean the one where I asked you to STOP and your reply back to me was "***you!" So; once again, STOP communicating directly to me.

Do the police define your Rights or does the Citizen?
