Time was, that area of Southern California was pretty conservative. However, since the 2018 election, it may not be so much so. California keeps messing with changing election processes to try to become more liberal, such as their primary in which it isn't one party against another and their actions to "harvest" ballots from those that haven't voted yet. It has gotten to the point that some there want to change the name of the airport because "John Wayne said insensitive things."
I think O'hara is one of the best airports for people watching. They got some crazy people up in there for sure. Lets be honest none of us would ever go where all the killing is. Soon as I get off the plane I head the other way for work.

The family and I stayed at an Embassy Suites in Chicago 2 year ago, over July 4th. There was a family reunion happening at the HOtel, at the same time. the first set of breast my grandson ever got see, live, was one of the girls at the family reunion.
Exactly.....I was sitting in the eye doctors office in a chair along the main aisle browsing videos on OSA today that had some ugly black guns in them, and I heard a voice behind me say WTH are you looking at!
Some frizzy haired nurse was looking over my shoulder. Told her it was a news story.
See? I worry about that sometime if I'm reading an article about guns or playing a hunting game on my iPad in a public waiting room. I really SHOULDN'T have to worry about it, but it does cross my mind that someone may object. I have a prepared answer if someone complains about the hunting game, I'll just tell them they're only digital animals, so it's okay. LOL!
BTW, I made it safely out of Chicago and am currently in Kentucky, which is much more redneck friendly.
