I was out in the woods this evening looking for hogs, sheds, and mushrooms, all of which I struck out on, BUT as I was standing there scanning the area I hear something rumbling through the field to the north and see an elk running my direction. It jumped the fence about 15 or 20 yards from me at most. pretty awesome!

Around Apache?

Caddo County is all ya get! lol

He never even looked back it didn't seem, wonder what he was running from?

I wondered the same thing. I stood there for a bit watching, but nothing else ever came out. At first I thought it was coming at me and I was going to end up on one of those "when animals attack" videos. lol

Our farm is around Binger and the family farm is south of Cogar. I would love to see elk that far north

Awesome experience. I used to have a 160 I could hunt that was a mile north of 152 between cogar and binger, incredible land down there.
